I'm currently looking at some different lead acid batteries to make up a battery bank for our new MH
So far i've eyed up 3 x Hankook XL31 130AH , with cold cranking rating of 900 and they weigh 28.4kg each.
https://www.batterymegastore.co.uk/hankook-xl31-leisure-battery.html

Or else 3 x Varta LFD 90 90AH , with a cold cranking rating of 800 and they weigh 24.8 kg each.

main use for battery bank will be to power a 1500w pure sine which in turn will power the microwave , and ofc the bank will be used for general 12V charging of laptops , running Truma heater fan and powering TV,Phones etc.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for batteries ??

@ambulancekidd how long have you (Just) had them installed (y)

I've had them in the moho for about 5/6 weeks, they've been tried out in anger & I'm more than happy with them.
They're made by Numax & my old Numax is still going strong despite being 8yrs old, its in my mates Bongo now so that's why I went for the Hankook batteries.

So the battery megastore rejected my order this morning saying they do not deliver to BT postcodes , yet despite me entering my postcode into their website then it calculating my shipping o_Oo_O
So ive had to order 3 x Varta LFD 90's from another seller who does ship to BT , but now im out of pocket another £45 :mad:

got to be really careful buying batteries cc club did a test google it ,,, only a few lived up to claims ,,and they cut them up to see what was inside and behold a load of rubbish in some.Thats some weight your adding as well got to be careful on some mh as can easily exceed max all up weight .i run 2 and a 1000watt inverter charges with solar and alternator ,,also some batteries will lose a lot of life if u discharge over 50 percent of capacity

Thanks for the heads up / input @more fun , in the end i had to go with the Varta LFD 90 , which loads of people have used in the past so hopefully they should be ok , with my last Battery bank in our last MH i never let the batteries go below 12.2V , so all is good , 3 years later and they were still working fine.
As for the weight , not a problem as will be getting it up-plated to over 4200kg anyways
