Is it just a load of tosh with gullible folk having money to burn? Will food grade let us live ..how much longer

More to the point, if you break down in the desert can you eat it?

What are the differences that would make me drop down dead if I ate it? And the chances of me breaking down in a desert are almost zilch.

Is that what this is?

Have had 2 of these for the last couple of years and they have been very good, no need to have to unroll like a lay flat and takes up less room than a normal hose…

I bought this 3 internal tubes so no need to fully unwind. Takes a little longer than a normal hose but works great (same as the Brunner but cheaper)

I think I'm missing something here - if it rolls flat, how does water pass through it if you don't have to unroll it all?

They have 3 small tubes side by side that looks flat. They stay rigid enough for water to pass through.

Ah, ok. I think I understand now.

When we went full-time 3 years ago, we removed our 35m Hazelock wall mounted reel off the wall and into the van.

We had used it to water the garden for over 5 years before transferring to the van. No ill affects so far!

Depends how you feel about phthalates.

If you are not bothered, no problem.

Are hoselock connectors food grade…?

Asking for a friend…..😎
They will be a hard plastic with no plasticisers.

So nothing to leach out.

Having said that, I'm going to have a look tomorrow while I'm supposed to be working.

We use two expanding hoses which we can join together if needed. They pack in a small bag.
We used a lay flat hose for a while but found it a PIA.

hose and brass fittings can release lead, antimony, bromine and other toxic minerals. Also, phthalates are used to make the hose more flexible and these too are toxic. BPA is also found in many hoses. Not stuff I want to drink

What is the best one must be Food grade and where to buy thanks in advance
If y6ou must have one, try your local chandlery (but beware chandlery prices). Personally I wouldn't recommend using one but each to their own as they say.
