We use our Tassimo, but only on hook up. I think most use a pot off grid!

I have an aeropress but as coffee and ways to make it are almost unlimited you should get a lot of suggestions for this! Make a coffeee, sit back and watch them rolling in :)

What do the Tassimo coffee machines draw? Some chap was tripping his 6 amp supply here when he tried to use it. Swears he had nothing else on, such as water heater, but they always say that till they find it is on :D

Our Tassimo Vivy draws 5.7A at 230V....it doesn't get used if we only have a 6A supply.

Our Nespresso pulls 1200 watts Jim so that's about 5A from your 240v post, fridge and battery charger could take it over 6A.

I'm going to be investing in an Eco Flow for this but also for many other applications. Gearing up to completely negate the need for the increasing cost of hook up

Which one are you looking at and whats the cost?

I'm looking at the Eco Flow Delta Mini at £1000 but depending on the power requirements of your coffee maker, you might be able to get away with the River Pro at £700.
I'm planning on using this unit in our classic vw on multiple nights off grid at festivals etc while we await our new motorhome, as well as for charging our electric mountain bikes and a general back up supply when it does turn up. Depending on your current set up and extent of other needs, you might just want to think about upgrading to lithium and use an inverter?

V60 drip filter, from Whittards (not the V6 Dyson!)

They can pull around 1500w for a few seconds here and there, so could trip a 6a supply I guess?

I got a nanopresso excellent espresso with just hot water. Combined with tuttocrema you can make perfect cappuccino off grid.

Bialetti moka pot on the gas hob here. Breakfast routine is my other half continues to snore while I venture out of the warm pit and locate slippers. I get the moka pot going. Meanwhile I warm a pan of milk, pour that out into the coffee cups. Reuse the pan to make porridge. The moka finishes brewing as the porridge thickens up. Then she wakes up to the smell of fresh coffee and breakfast.

You had me worried for a while until I read about it working fine on hoop-up!

If you like a frothy coffee you could do what I do. Use an Aeropress, heat some milk in the microwave (or hob) then froth it with a battery powered milk frother (wand type). I get a really good coffee as good as many flat whites from coffee shops. It's more of a faff than the coffee machine at home but I'm on holiday so have the time!

Moka pot. Always. On or off grid. We use a stainless one.
Us too don't fancy the theoretical increased risk of Alzheimer's with aluminium. We actually use an IKEA one we bought a number of years ago. Use the same at home too.

Snap. They were such good value. Sadly it looks as if they have changed the design.

Either of those need an awful lot of nights without ehu to pay back presuming that there are sites that offer the option of with or without. It depends how much people think it's worth paying to run a coffee maker.
Indeed if a couple of coffees once a day 365 days a year) costs £1000 in power and if you assume 15p per coffee in luxury beans 🫘 then that’s around 5.5 years to break even just in terms of the power pack. Let alone what is going to be paid for the coffee machine. If it’s cheaper beans then that could take 10-15 years. 😁

Mine will be used for far more than that. All manner of power tools down the storage and boat yard, in the vw camper and down the end of the garden etc
