We pay much more into our account than the £13 requirement which covers the insurance cost. Due to changing circumstances the amount paid each month is stopping. Do you have to continue paying in £13 a month even if you have a healthy balance.

Sorry didn’t realise you had a healthy balance.Yes, that’s what they charge per month for the account.
It's not a requirement of what you have to pay into the account, it's a fee to pay for the 'perks' that come with it, so the £13 isn't your money. We pay much more into our account than the £13 requirement which covers the insurance cost. you're not making sense.Yes flex plus account. So i dont have to pay £13 a month if i have more money in the account?
That is correct, your account will be debited £13 every month. So if there is more than £13 in it it will be taken. In my case there is nothing in the account so I have a DD from my main account to the Flex plus account and that money is then debitedYes flex plus account. So i dont have to pay £13 a month if i have more money in the account?
no it's not and apparantly ummm no, it's not.Be aware that the terms of the breakdown insurance is changing and they will only cover vehicles up to 7metre long; not hte previous 8m long. Also the gross weight is being reduced to 3500kg.
I believe that is correct. Remains up to 8m and 7.5t.no it's not and apparantly ummm no, it's not.
No. As long as there are funds in the account to pay the £13 per month charge, it doesn't matter whether the charge comes from a healthy balance, or regular deposits.I have asked in branch but still unsure. What i am asking is :-
Do you have to pay £13 pounds per month into the account even if you have more than £13 pounds in the account .
You’ll need to pay £13 a month to maintain the account, even if you can’t use the insurances
This has been answered by previous members. To confirm, you have to pay £13 per month to keep the benefits which come with the account. This fee will be taken automatically from the balance each month. As long as there are sufficient funds in your account to cover this payment all is good. If there is not enough money in the account to cover the £13 charge you will in effect go overdrawn and be in trouble with the bank. You could pay the £13 from another account if you would prefer. The bottom line is that you HAVE TO PAY £13 PER MONTH, how you choose to do that is up to you. If you have a large amount of money in the account and do not pay any further money into the account, then month by month you will see the balance reduce by £13, the fee.I have asked in branch but still unsure. What i am asking is :-
Do you have to pay £13 pounds per month into the account even if you have more than £13 pounds in the account .
