Little to do with the "what or where" just a blank canvas for the mindless delinquents with nothing constructive to bring to society today, and there doesn't appear to be any incentive, or mindset to make such activities a significant crime.

May as well say it as think it. " Were they parked in the Lorry part ? " Even so,this is unacceptable behaviour. If they get caught,throw the book at them,whoever is involved,name and shame the haulier......... There may be some driving jobs coming up soon.......

I note two have Bike racks buy no Bikes you would anticipate Bikes if holidaying so perhaps the Traveller type owns them.

Looks to me like they were in the Travellodge carpark. Doubt you could see the Shell garage from traveller park. Doubt the artist would have the balks to do it in the traveller area.

Parking Prices​

Short stay customer parking is available at all facilities for cars only.

No official parking spaces are provided for HGVs or other long vehicles at either service area, but the Markham Moor truckstop (which is not documented here) does provide parking for HGVs (and coaches by appointment).

Parking and use of the northbound forecourt is limited to 2 hours maximum stay and is strictly enforced by Euro Car Parks whilst parking within the southbound McDonald's car park is limited to 90 minutes maximum stay and is strictly enforced by UK Parking Control Ltd.

We have a bike rack and often travel without bikes. If we're parked up somewhere like this service station, we would have our bikes in our 'van or park where we can see them. A lack of bikes doesn't make them more likely to be a travellers' vans imho.

Locally there is talk that these vans belong to the travelling community. There is a large camp very close to this services and I suspect there may be some historic problems in the area. Still unacceptable !

The vans are parked very close together, I doubt the middle one could open it's hab door.

The first van's wing mirror is folded in, the last van looks to me like it's on the kerb..

They look long term parked up to me...

I've never seen such small spaces designated for lorries so I think you're mistaken.

Yes silly me. I was speed reading and thought. " Why would that happen ?" Services-parking? without looking at the demarcation lines and going from experience,it is common practice for HGV spots to be used by ALL. Perhaps i was mistaken,didn't now there was a travellers site nearby either. Now its starting to add up.
