Is there a resource somewhere (either on here or elsewhere) that is a searchable database of what a motorhome has/is. Such as length/width/ number of beds/set up beds/base vehicle/heating source etc etc ?
My wife and I are 50/50 on whether we'd like to upgrade our van (we've had it two years but would like a bit better quality...it's a Chausson) but would get something of a very similar size (6.65m) and layout (twin beds) but some aspects of ours are great, others less so....Looking at similar vans they have some stuff we want (twin gas bottles instead of 1..we don't want gaslow, we live on the continent and have no issues getting cheap gas bottle swaps) but have gas heating whereas ours has webasto, which we like.
Pie in the sky ask ? It'd be great to be able to compare a load of vehicles.
Thanks

I keep a spare pair of specs in the glovebox.
Ah, so this is where such a database could come in handy...simply type in Specs to the specs sheet and it will list where said Specs can be kept and just how capacious the glove box (or spectacle depository) is.....

I’d like a specs database that included payload and size of tanks- water waste and fuel
Always difficult to find those

MMM magazine used to list new/near new vans in back pages with basic specs.

My sat nav keeps saying "specs" to me. 😎.

Practical motorhome does, but not in as much detail as the OP wants perhaps, but would give food for thought.

This would be interesting to many.

We would like a full width end bathroom but also with an island bed and a spacious lounge. Would be ok with 8m.
Haven’t come across one so far though.
