Just a general query on insurance.....I have a 2011 Besacar E425 on a Ducato 2.2 chassis.....I have full no claims, clean licence, been driving for 50 years and I want to get fully comp insurance for it. I have separate breakdown cover so don't need that. I have my son and son-in-law as named drivers on the insurance policy for occasional use....they are both over 30 and have clean licences. I am currently with Devitt and pay about £400 per year. I would not change for a small saving but if anyone is getting a 'much better deal' can you let me know please

Just got a decent deal off Stavely head. Been 2days on phone. Worth a try

Try Comfort. We paid about £350 including breakdown last year. Worth a try.

Try AIB they use lots of different underwriters so you stand a good chance of getting just the policy you need. I'm on my third year with them now. Not made a claim but used their breakdown services twice (both punctures) and it was a great service. Discounts for Funsters too. AIB Insurance .

Saga always been very good to me , currently paying £230 for Rapido A class , without breakdown.

Try Grove & Dean,£217 inc breakdown ,found them on go compare.Just renewed and only £5 rise since last year.

Sounds expensive but can depend on postcode also two named rivers may bump it up but I would have thought £250-£300.
Comfort worth a ring.

Yeah it can be a Postcode lottery ............... when we insured with NFU then moved house a few weeks later they refunded over half of the premium because we had changed from high risk to low risk area

Devitt are quoting me over £400 for renewal (full no claims etc on a vehicle value of approx £32k). Up nearly £100 on last year! I’ve had a quote of £269 from Staveley Head so that’s we’re I’m going.
