Motorhome exchange

Hi folks just wondering if anyone has ever done a holiday exchange with their van, I always fancied doing Vancouver BC or Western Australia by van but the price's for vans are ridiculous, seen some sites with people from abroad wanting to swap with people from UK. Anyone got any experience of this cheers

It's a bit of a risky step into the unknown for both parties. I think getting insurance on a vehicle you don't own and without a residency address in the 'foreign' country might be difficult for non-nationals.
