Just looking
Hi, I am currently working on a Channel 5 Documentary about Motorhomes. We are doing a short history on Motorhomes and I am looking for any personal footage that you may have of Motorhomes.
Please email tom.hutton@definitelyproductions.com for more information and details.

I woukd suggest looking on Utube, loads of stuff on there

Remember that Program Britains best caravanner or something like that, just a Mickey take .

If its the same Tom Hutton who is a photographer/guide book writer/Trail and Country Walking mag contributer then I doubt it will be a micky take type program.

Need to know before suppling any less than favourable info what the angle/objective of the program is, many a slip between cup and lip.

We are looking for historical footage of motorhomes. Sorry if that wasn't clear. My colleague Tom will be able to get back to any queries via email next week.

It would be nice to know the “slant” of the documentary.

Is it pro, or is it in the FLT, polluting, keep them out of here scenario.

Many years ago our Fire Brigade was asked, by the producers of “London’s Burning” if we could supply tunic buttons and flashes of our Brigade. I was in favour but the, then Chief Officer, didn’t want to get involved.

When we eventually saw the episode, I was wrong, he was right. The plot would have shown our personnel as plonkers.

I would be very careful about getting involved, especially in view of the adverse publicity regarding Motorhomers since CV reared its ugly head.

But then again, I accept that my previous experience may have added to my paranoia.
