Hello, we're still very much rookies so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. Is there such a thing as a carport type structure we could have installed in the garden so we can protect our van from twigs and branches falling onto it?

you can get varying types of "car port" style but expect to pay a few grand.
then there are semi permanent "marquee" types.
How big is your van, we got some timber and currugated roof plastic and made one for our last smaller Panel Van .

It's about 4m high and 8m long. I liked the gates you have in the picture by the way

And it wouldn't be against a building so will need to be fairly wind resistant
