Hello Everyone,
Tried putting up the awning attached on my Autotrail Cheyenne for the first time since getting it.
While it seems all the sides/legs etc. are present, I think there may be missing a couple of bits that the side wall supports fit at/into at the awning rail end?

I've attached a couple of pics of each "awning end" of the rail, where I've managed to "hook" into the awning rail, which hopefully explains/shows things better...

Are parts "missing", or have I just not figured out how to correctly attach them (as they certainly don't feel secure at all)?

Thanks in advance for any hints/tips.

Cheers,
Rich.

Do you mean the top aluminium side bars of an omnistor residence room fitting to your awning?
There is normally just a [ shaped piece of plastic stuck to the inside of the awning box to stop the bar sliding

If you look on youtube for 'omnistor residence residence part 1 assembly' you will see rose awnings instruction video which shows the bits attached to the awning to hold the side bars

We have a very similar Dometic, ours actually clips onto the rail, yours looks to do the same, I have made a space filler (bit of plastic tube with rubber hose in to fill gap) when I first used scratched my head a bit, but once all tight it holds well, can be just thinking doing wrong, once in place and rigid it does not move.

Thanks busbuddy - watched the video, and I think I'm missing these x2 bits of plastic in pic below.

Hi MalcMc,
Any chance you could take a pic of your fix, to see if it's something that might work on mine please?

Cheers,
Rich.
