I’ve just had an A service for our 2016 Sprinter at Cicely Commercial in Bolton, main MB agents. They could not have been more helpful...
they replaced a parking light bulb at cost, and all in the cost was £168 incl Vat. Good friendly people.

The oil alone is about £100. It is that synthetic stuff and the 3L engine holds a lot.
Also needs oil filter fuel filter pollen filter and the inevitable £1to fill up the screenwash. Mine is going in soon but to my usual independent . I dont have much faith in main dealers.

I would be very very cautious. I use a Garage in Stoke , proper old school in Kidsgrove and have done for 10 + years to look after my vans.

I have to say, I had my Merc done there a couple of years ago and the oil came to as much as your complete service? although I was informed that it needed doing every 2 years due to the type of Oil.

It was the first service A. (oil & filter) Mercs seem to have standard price servicing according to the leaflets, which I found so reasonable. How much for 12.5 litres of correct oil and filter alone?

I didn't design the V6 engine!
But I reckon the higher the lubricant to crap ratio = less wear !
