Two years after losing our much-loved lurcher, we succumbed and decided to have another dog. We liked sighthounds and big poodles. Somehow we ended up with one of each. Llŷr is a silken windhound, Brân is a standard poodle pup.

It’s meant parting with the Smart ForTwo we used to tow. A sighthound would fit in the back but not two quite large dogs. So we sold the car, selling the trailler next. We bought an Aygo to replace it.

We’re hoping to take them to Provence for a month this summer. The costs of rabies injections and blood tests are mounting.

Definitely need photos ... of the dogs not the car I hasten to add! :D

and another.

Love the names... from Mabinogion?
They are from the Maboniogion, or the Mabondogion as I like to call them! We had a lurcher called Mabon before them.

I’m in love. Utterly gorgeous!

Llŷr has already been with us in the Hymer, to London and Norfolk. He loved it. We’re about to buy a quick fit privacy tent for our Thule awning to accommodate them.

Mabon hated being tethered to a screw in stake. How do people keep their dogs in their pitch?

Love the look of your poodle without the daft haircut!!

They are both handsome boys. We have 2 standard poodles, your young man looks almost identical to our Otto as a baby.

He's 3 now. Ours wouldn't be happy in a privacy tent unless we were in there too, standard poodles are well known for it! There's a good Facebook group: Standard Poodle Club UK.

Don't know why but that photo makes me think of Michael Jackson in his 'Thriller' days! :D
