I'm thinking of putting one of these in our little bathroom, as I don't want to drill holes in the wall. Does anyone use them and have you found one where the soap doesn't go flying off at the first bump in the road?

I bought a real cheapy, haven't installed it because I put some soap on it and the normal sized bar just fell off. A smaller one stayed put until I waved it around, then it fell off too. Chalk it up to experience.

Thank you.

These just stick on the wall with double sided tape, have a double one in my shower at home… shampoo in one side and shower gel in other, you can put liquid soap in one or have all three…😎

We have one on the wall of our carthago, I don’t know if it’s OE fit but the NEW bar of soap hasn’t fell off, and we’ve been down some shocking roads👍

I’m not sure how you get in those awkward places to wash with those, makes me eyes water just thinking of it 🙄😇

Isn’t that about every road nowadays, including parts of the motorways.

They even do one with our logo on it 👍🏻

Think Jim should add these to the shop for sale, or just give em out for free 😀

Now that’s a coincidence as I used shower gel today, instead of soap and then I found I had to use more water trying to rinse it off, whereas soap is easypeasy to rinse.

Also noted that the gel didn’t shift the wiffs like carbuncle coal tar soap does 🤭😀😁

Ah… that just reminded me I like coal tar soap…. I wonder if you can get it in liquid form….😎

I always buy one of these.
I don't think that the magnet will hold over many bumps

I think I will just stay dirty as it saves on plastic, electricity, water and soap ...

These are excellent, fitted one in the en suite 5 yrs ago and it’s still running. Always out of the way but available, now awaiting one to arrive in the morning got the van

It was banned in 2005, in the process destroying two really well known brands: Vosene and Wright's Coal Tar soap. There was evidence that coal tar could cause cancer. This was based on various bits of information, but most convincingly by an increased incidence in cancer amongst people who worked with it.

Yes

Yes.even here in the bomb cratered UK roads the soap stayed put.
2 for 3 quid,amazon.
It was the 2 for 3 quid Amazon one that I bought, and doesn't hold the soap. If you have one that does, could you pop a link in the replies.

We are also doing it to reduce plastic use, so we buy the Eco soap bars, but of course they get squishy if left lying around, and they stick to the sink as they dry making more mess to clean up.

It's the soap to the holder, not the holder to the wall, that is problem.

Me too, used one a couple of weeks ago to "fix" the TV remote on the bulkhead alongside the TV while travelling. Also been used for a 12v/usb hub and Kitchen roll holder. The real benefit is you can remove the Command Strips if you subsequently find you have placed the device in the wrong place with no screw holes to fill........don't ask how I know!
