Me again, I have lost the only set of keys we have for our 1993 Fiat Ducato Hymer 544, ignition and door/locker keys, has anyone else
had this problem and if so how did you resolve.
Many thanks, Dave.

The hab locks will probably have a number on the barrel you will need to take the barrels out to find then you should be able to get new keys.
The Fiat locks with that age of vehicle will probably mean new locks.

Lost keys can be handed in to the Police so it is worth checking with your local Nick (or Custody Suite).

Police in Southampton do not deal with lost property Inc keys
Mrs. Ex lost a set of keys and when I called at the police station and after waiting about 10 minutes for someone to come after I rang the bell, I was told police do not deal with an lost property.

I handed in a Nissan car key a couple of years ago. (Found on the pavement) You should complain to your Police & Crime Commissioner if your force has stopped providing this service for the public.

I had a Fiat Ducato (not a motorhome) of that age and was told that if you lost the red key, you couldn't programme any more (mine didn't even come with a red key). However, a 3rd party locksmith was able to clone an existing key so I had a spare. If I'd lost the last key, I was told that it required a completely new engine management system costing thousands. I hope that this is not the case and they've now come up with a more reasonable solution to a lost red/all keys situation. Certainly, independent specialists are more likely to know a cheap workaround/solution.

Although you may be lucky and have one from before Fiat introduced their notorious "red key" system.
