I want to buy the motor home from my father.
It has a Peugeot J 5chassis, a Knaus 620 top and a Fiat 2.5 Turbo Diesel motor.
I want to go to Morocco for holiday and also to buy fossils for my shop. Can anyone tell me what extra weight I can put in it?
Does it make a difference if I put more suspension on? Do I have to change the logbook than?

No. No-one can. The weight is unknown until you drive it on a weighbridge loaded for the journey. Only then will you realise how heavy a few hundred pairs of knickers and 50 pairs of shoes weigh. Travelling with no water on board would be inconvenient but equate to a load of fossils. I'll bet you can be carrying 100kg of water.

NOT buying fossils is what most people struggle to do !

It makes no sense to modify a MH for one trip, it's cheaper to hire a van.
