Hi folks,
I have 2008 challenger genesis
CBE electrical system (DB516 charger, DS300 12v distribution box & PC150 control panel)
When I left the MH on the MHU over night the leisure battery did not charge (note stored in a shed, no solar)
The battery is currently charging when left outside, via solar, and also is charging when driving.
I first thought the DB516 is not working, when switched on the light is illuminated, but the fan does not come on, I’m pretty sure there was always a slight drone sound from it before. Both fuses are ok, 230vac input is ok, however when and when the 12v molex connector is connected I was reading 12.5vdc, however when the connector is disconnected, therefore no link to the batter the output was 11vdc. Which is low right?
The connections to the DS300 12v distribution board appear fine, and I can read around 12.5vdc across both leisure and van battery.
All fuses were fine, specifically the battery to battery one.
Fuses appear ok in the boite security relais box.
230vac to other sockets are ok when on MHU
Anyone have any ideas?
Now the van is still under warranty from the dealership, we have had it less than a year, however we had an alarm installed by them (that was actually through a 3rd party) and we had so much problems and return visits to the dealership, i feel there is a bit of bad blood and i want to try my best before taking it to them!!!!
Thanks
Andrew
