Lake Lugano or Maggiore - free park ups?

Anyone know if any cheap or free park ups in the areas of Lake Lugano and Maggiore please? Having been to Garda and now sat at Lake Iseo, is it worth paying what looks like €40/50 euros just for the night in Switzerland.

We.are really just meandering around, which we love and looking to make our way over Italy to travel up through France Belgium etc to Holland. We have about ten days to do it, so open to suggestions on whichever route anyone recommends?

We are currently at Lake Iseo, having been at Lake Garda for the last two nights ..... so heading sort of North West into France.....

So we set off and found a great Sosta park up for €10 BUT there's a market on tomorrow so we would have had to move around midnight. Another motorhomer told us of a free Sista just around the corner, but when we got there it was full of travellers, so we gave it a miss!

The €10 park up was at Olginate N45.7953 E9.41648 - it was a bit steep in and out, we managed with a 7.5m with quite a low overhang BUT I think only just! The exit is traffic controlled by lights so you can get out easy enough in terms of traffic!

The above photo shows the nearest bar to get a ticket for the night. It's about 300 yards away along the river.

And for those with dogs what appears to be a free fenced in agility area to exercise the pooch! The gate was unlocked and as there were no signs and it has a doggie poo bag dispenser it certainly appears to be free.




We ended up at Lugano, Camping Paradise. 50 swiss Francs so about £50 but I don't mind that for the night as it's such a fantastic spot.
