We were due to depart on Thur 24th to be in Ancona on Sept 4th for ferry to Patras. So quite a leisurely planned schedule.
On checking the en-route weather for Thur to Sun the temperatures start at 37C and only fall to 34C. Those are beyond my fighting weight.
Fortunately after that the weather breaks with rain and the temperatures for the following week fall to the mid-20s'
We have decided to postpone departure till Sun 27th, but that still gives us a week to get to Ancona, which is 1400km, so 200km/pd
