Quite a while.....though not long enough
Hi,

We've just got a Kampa Air Awning, and I've started to look for some form of Awning Light, and spotted that Kampa do a specific version for their Awnings (Sabre LED), I haven't actually seen them "in the flesh" so to speak. Do any of you have them and would recommend or otherwise please, also if they are worth the money or am I as well to buy a roll of LED`s cheaply from eBay and make my own version? As at £30-£40 a set (150 LED), the Kampa ones soon got expensive if you are looking to link a few sets together.

Any info appreciated - Thanks.

We have two of the short length. Our awning is the 260. They are very bright. Certainly wouldn’t need any more in the awning. We use one of those Portable batteries for multiple uses, 12v, pump for tyres etc. Charge it up before we leave and it gives us sufficient power source for the pump of the awning and is our power source for the lights.

We also have 2 and they are indeed very bright though you do have full control of illumination with the handy remote control, that allows you to switch the lights on and off and also dim and brighten them.
We don't now have the air awning but kept the Sabre lights to use under the wind out.

Pete
