enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
But I wouldn't stop over unless it's an emergency stop or en route. That's based entirely on the park up that is designated for motorhomes, although not clearly marked. It does have WC emptying point so that was useful!
It also has a signpost showing the direction to Dalkeith .....!!

We only stopped to have a look around, it's a beautiful town and prob worth a visit around the distillery when its open

It's a bit of a hill back up to the parking area, but nothing extreme. There are quite a few older buildings etc and as it's on The Charente there's quite a lot of boaty things to do, especially I assume in the Summer. It's a very pleasant town to stroll around or along the river, but as I said, it wouldn't be my choice of a motorhome stopover. There us a campsite right by the river in the centre of town, but sadly it was closed. That may be a good option for stopping over?IMG_20220330_113845_999.jpg

That's because Jarnac is twinned with Dalkeith.(y)

Think there's even a shopping centre(?) named Jarnac in Dalkeith.
