I have a 115 watt panel, Victron 75/15 MPPT going to 2 X 100AH lead acid leisure batteries.
I also have a Vanbitz battery master.
I need to disconnect the batteries to add some connections to them.
I know that they shouldn't be disconnected whilst connected to solar.
What is the best thing to do to isolate the solar from the batteries please.

Disconnect the output from the solar regulator. Make sure you do, on the boat once I forgot, then, whilst pulling a cable through put positive from the solar onto negative to a studer inverter/charger, a €1500 mistake I won’t make again!

Actually you should disconnect the panel from the controller, not controller from battery,.Also make sure controller is connected back to battery before reconnecting panel. This allows the controller to recognise the battery voltage. It's useful to fit a switch between the panel and the controller for this purpose.

The Victron solar unit should have a setting on the bluetooth app to turn it off for maintenance

If you are able to get to it you could cover the panel with cardboard / carpet or similar before and during the period you are going to have the batteries disconnected.

Thanks for all the advice.
I am going to put something over the panel and disable charging in the app before disconnecting the batteries.
