When I try to open a website I get the following:
5370E6AD-57DC-4379-8351-73EE0969FF27.jpeg

the odd thing is I can get google earth which uses internet, emails are no problem, but when I try to open a search engine I get the above.
Please help!

Gadget not sure what you are operating...but could try this

If you can't access video I'll type it out for you. 👍

Tried the solution in the video (I also have a MacBook)
The computer I am having problems with is running Windows 10, recently updated.
Unfortunately I am still getting the same result i.e. no internet results.

Is it different if you try chrome instead of internet explorer? Or vice versa

Delete all cookies. But not passwords

Do not have chrome on this pc

This is the problem. I cannot access google to be able to download Crome.
Still seeing the screenshot shown in my first post.
Have done all as suggested, however no progress.

Have you tried rebooting? First thing I had to ask when I worked on a computer helpline 😀

Rebooted several times! I’m completely stumped - not understanding why.
Since I’ve had the computer I’ve not been able to have website access, but receive windows updates and email ok.
Gain MotorhomeFun through my MacBook laptop.

I am not a computer buff, only buffer, but, is it worth going to the first windows screen , bottom left and opening the blue boxes up then on near side program list see if chrome, or explorer are listed and if so click on either and see what shows. I would try and connect internet with a Ethernet lead not wireless and see what happens, assuming you have an Ethernet card in computer, if not then, search you local community hub on Mac and talk it through with a geek.

Have you checked to see if there any outstanding Windows 10 updates. I have found in the past that not all updates have worked first time or there has been an additional update added that did not update automatically.

We had a similar problem once because the antivirus was out of date and preventing internet access.

There are lots of comments online about this problem with plenty of solutions suggested. Have you tried this one.

This seems to get mentioned in a lot of online suggested fixes.

Bingo!

Thank you 'The Wino'

I removed Kasperski free ( I use Avast). Rebooted and am now able to view my favourite site on my desktop PC.

Many thanks to all; Much appreciation!
