Returning from fake fest this weekend our moho gave out an occasional beep from the Sargent control panel while we were driving (probably 15 times in 2 hours). I had a quick look at the panel while we were moving and it indicated that both batteries were being charged as they should.
Can anyone offer any suggestions what/where we should be looking at to check for problems?

Are you sure it was your Sargent panel beeping and not your smoke or CO detector beeping to indicate a low battery ?

Ooh- I hadn't thought of that. It was very random though. I thought there was a regular pattern to failing batteries in the detectors.
I will check them out though. Thank you.

or the tyre monitor
We have had a tyre warning previously but the sound when that happened was from the dash area not habitation area. Tyres will be routinely checked though.
Thanks for suggestion.

Had the same beeping noise and eventually tracked it down to the carbon monoxide detector that is located on the ceiling fairly close to the overhead locker with the control panel in it.

Ah. Ours is very close by too. I will definitely check this out.
Thank you.

Or have you got a budgie 😁?

Ah that's something I'd not thought of. When it's been open for too long it does beep but it beeps quickly and regular. I will give it an extra shove to see if it helps.
Thank you

We had a beeb yesterday. Turned out to be the steps warning beep. Step not fully retracted.

Have a check in the Sargent settings for warning beep.
Turn the beep off and may eliminate some sources.
Check the fridge door seal and contents on shelves.

I did wonder if our issue was step related as we already have a problem with the step. I've replaced the limit switch (think that's what it's called) but it didn't resolve my original problem. Think the step is probably the issue. Thank you.

That's something I hadn't thought about. I've just taken the van back to storage but will have a look at that when I pick it up again. Thank you.

Why would what you have in your fridge on its shelves have anything to do with it beeping.
Because the contents are making the fridge door open ajar (not a jar 😅) on cornering. The temperature drops and alarm goes off. Back the other way and the door closes.
Happened to "us" last week on interesting Highland roads.
