Just looking
We're about to buy a motorhome in Europe and wonder who would be the best insurer for our situation. We will be living in the motorhome and touring Europe indefinitely. We are New Zealand citizens, do not have a residence in Europe and the motorhome will be registered in Andorra.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome 🤗

Sorry don’t really know but I guess it depends on where you intend to travel as a few instances won’t cover some countries.

I would start enquiring where the motorhome is registered.

Good luck.

I'd start by asking the selling dealer.

If it will be registered in Andorra, surely that's the place to start looking for insurance

I hope you realise that non EU citizens can only be in the Schengen area which is most of Europe for 90 days in 180 and there may be insurance implications for non residents. Also: "Because Andorra is not part of the Schengen area, a multiple entry visa is required to re-enter the Schengen area when leaving Andorra. Foreign visitors, including EU citizens, looking to stay in Andorra more than 90 days require a residence permit."
Best of luck.

Did you ever get a good answer to this?
We're trying to navigate a few things as well....Irish and Scottish "kiwis"...dual citizenship.

They were expensive and only 6 months euro cover per year. Sterling even more expensive (like 4x UK resident price quote) but 365 days in Europe....although they quoted for an overseas licence driving a 3850kg UK registered vehicle which I'm sure is a bit suss.
