Indicators don't flash anymore when locking ?

2021 Fiat dicato van. Indicator lights always flash on locking or unlocking. However they've now stopped doing that, although van is locked. Does anybody know why that is?

i believe you can turn them off in the settings mode on newer models. perhaps thats been done inadvertently.
