Hi, we are looking to purchase our first motorhome and really like the layout of the Hymer Starline 680 as we are a family of 4. We've found one locally that we like and its mostly been used for off grid camping in Spain and France.
Is there anything in particular that I should be looking for? It is the 2.7 5 cylinder Mercedes Sprinter 416 chassis
Thanks in advance for any advice given, it's much appreciated.

A well built van indeed. I had one once and if I had one again I would fit at least rear ended suspension to cut do on body
roll. Great engine and ours had a sprintshift gearbox. Not everybody’s cup of tea but I liked it.

I have a 2005, 655 starline and love it. A fantastic engine and so well built. Do you have a link the one your interest in.

Great Motorhome , it was a very expensive when new . Huge payload, Check the tyres as six of them cost a lot of cash.

Luckily my 6 are all good, more money to spend other things, like we’re off on Sunday to the “Freshwater camp site, by West Bay for a week
