They bought a van to travel the USA, day before they were going to move all their stuff into the van it catches fire whilst they are driving in it. He has the presence of mind to video some of it. Pretty scary stuff and all our worst nightmare.

I wasn't subscribed it came up as a recommended.

I'm subscribed to their channel. As Jo662 says, they've not had lots of luck with vans after their first one turned out to be a scam.
This video is truly terrifying and I'm very thankful they're both safe and also that it didn't happen 24 hours later when the van would've been full of all their belongings.

A fire can happen to any age of vehicle, but if you're not mechanically competent yourself it's worth pay paying for a professional survey, it may have saved them from being scammed on their first van and they might have found the cause of the fire on this one before it happened.

My driving licence, passport and any essential travel documents are scanned and stored so that I can access them remotely if I needed to in an emergency. I also have an ID wrist strap with US and UK ICE numbers, blood group, name and age which I used to wear when travelling for work and when I'm out in my gym kit with no other info. Again, so that if I needed help and couldn't speak, any helpers would know my name and some essential details.

They now have a gofundme page someone has set up for them 3k on it already Insurance will no doubt pay out for the van none of their possessions lost, I hope they donate to a charity.
