House insurance

We are looking at house insurance renewal.
SAGA say they have a 60 unoccupied policy but will extend to 90 if they are given dates of travel.
Has anyone had experience of them allowing 90 days.
We are with caravan motorhome insurance that automatically gives 90 day cover.
All information gratefully received.

I’ve just renewed with Direct Line. I have been with C&CC for quite a while. I telephoned them to ask if I could still use their house insurance, even though I had written them a letter explaining I was cancelling my member ship ( insurance was with RSA) as I was annoyed at the way they were treating full timers. I am still waiting for a reply!!.
Direct line allow 60 days, but if someone stays at your home for a few days, the 60 days starts again. They also said they would do a short extension if asked, but not regularly.
