I have an issue with some garden light.

The garden lights are 12v LED and go through a 240v WiFi timer and onto the transformer

I have decided it would be a good idea to connect the pool light to the same timers. They are used at the same time.

However, the Pool light is 240V LED and when all connected up, the Garden lights flicker constantly when switched OFF. All okay when ON.

Is there a solution ?

I had a similar problem with the house lights when we switched to LED from Halogen on one fitting of 6 lamps, I had to have 5 LED and 1 Halogen.

Could you use the 12v LED supply to trigger a relay to activate the 240v LED pool lights. This would keep the circuits separate but use the same timer.

Both sets of lights are fed from a 230v supply. Assuming the wifi switch has the capacity for both sets, just run the pool light feed in to a point between the timer and the transformer.

Thats how I wired it.

BUT !

Only the Live and not the Neutral ! So maybe that could be the issue ?

I'm not an electrician, you should get professional advice, etc. etc. ....... personally I'd run all the cables to all the kit. Clearly only the live needs to be switched.
I'd also get a tester plug, just in case the flashing lights are a bit of current leakage from somewhere.

amendment !

The pool light is 12v LED. So I was using the WiFi timer to control 2 x Transformers

1 for the 12v garden lights
1 for the pool light

The Garden Lights Transformer has the capacity for both. So now that powers pool and garden lights
