 can any one say the bast place to get insurance on my Winnebago Brave i have been quoted £700 so far
what should i hope to pay??

A lot depends on your personal circumstances, age, post code, NCD , points on license etc..
also what is included, break down/ recovery, glass, contents, European travel etc ..

Whoever you choose ensure that there is no upper limit on glass, an RV windscreen can cost in excess of £3k

I'm with NFU and pay £385 .. 36ft RV

I have one claim two years ago and they paid out without question and didn't load my premium

No limit on glass,
365 European travel
but no breakdown / recovery, I do that through the RAC Arrival scheme with the C &CC

try sureteam the do rvs or go to equity red star thats who a lot of the brokers use winnie warrior last 2 years around 200-250 limited milage etc

Safeguard are ok with no limits on mileage or european travel . Costs me around £500 pa for hurricane.
Think I might try NFU next !!

the best is just over £390 so far with out brake down

I am with Sureteam Direct.

They have proved very good with a glass claim and very expensive breakdown.

I insured my BRAVE in Feb, with full no claims I got it for £303.59 including breakdown cover from Adrian Flux.
It's cheaper to insure than my imported Honda Del Sol :Eeek:

Boo

Thats good boo, mines with towergate bakers £500 with RAC arrival.

Olley

 Comfort £4000 p/a

 Sureterm £1500 p/a

Ok, so i've only 2 years NCD to donate and maybe a couple of SP30s but thats crazy!

Wow.. did you say the forbidden word FULLTIME by any chance ?

I told them the truth. I wanted to provide clarity so as not to give insurers any reason to wriggle out of paying a claim.
Why bother insuring a lie when you know they'll use almost anything to dispute a claim.

By your own definition i'm not truly "fulltiming", but I'm trying!
Just have to come back occasionally for that blasted job thingy!

I cant see how all your insurances are so low, our Damon Daybreak with Brake down cover is £900!!!

Try Coversure. They reduced my premium from £589 to £329.:thumb:

We are with Adrian Flux, £308.00 with european breakdown cover. They can be a pain in the arse with all there paperwork, but well worth sticking it out i think:BigGrin:
