My satellite was playing up, so I Decided to have a look, when checking the control panel, we found 0EBD6971-C9BA-4EB6-8871-A1DBA8C302DC.jpeg85FCEDD8-AF7B-4CC5-A809-D586695D33D2.jpegE51EAE10-4B2A-43EA-972B-F32EB5B254F6.jpeg0EBD6971-C9BA-4EB6-8871-A1DBA8C302DC.jpeg0EBD6971-C9BA-4EB6-8871-A1DBA8C302DC.jpeg85FCEDD8-AF7B-4CC5-A809-D586695D33D2.jpegE51EAE10-4B2A-43EA-972B-F32EB5B254F6.jpegthe connection was a bit loose at the rear, it’s a Teleco flatsat auto classic S65, I wiggled it and my dish went up and locked on.
But as I was refitting it the connection snapped altogether and now can’t get the dish down. Is there any way to lower the dish while I’m waiting to have the control panel repaired or a replacement to arrive.
hoping it can be lowered as really want to use it now restrictions to COVID-19 have been changed.
thanks for any advice :)

Do you have the manuals, is their a manual override if the power is turned off to the drive motor (remove the fuse)?

Thanks for your reply, There is a green wire which Sends a positive feed to the dish motor so it folds when the engine is started but tried starting the van and nothing happened.
Do you think if I connected said wire direct to a spare 12v battery it might work, I don’t want to damage anything any further?
cheers

that appears to be repairable by somebody with the right soldering equipment, as its surface mount and appears to just be an RJ45 socket

As for temporarily lowering the dish, with the oyster, you climb on the roof and loosen the 2 bolts holding the arm to the base and lower gently then tighten the bolts again. May likely be a similar way

wouldn't like to say, you might do more damage.

I would have thought that the ignition 'green' would go to the panel to signal retraction if 'up' but not had one of these.

I am sure someone will be along soon to get a more definite answer
