Hi i believe on some Hymer models, the lights can be adjusted when driving in Europe. We have a 2016 Fiat chassis B class 3.0 does anyone know how and if it can be adjusted on our MH ? TIA (y)

On my previous Hymer there was a small lever at the back of the headlight unit. Not sure if it's on all Hymers.
However, I've been going to Europe twice a year for almost 15 years and never adjusted them. Mind you, I never drive at night!

Same here but we have been caught out in rainy weather when you must have your headlights on.

If its the Almond eyes glass headlamps they use the Hella classic unit. You losen 3 screws on the back and rotate them to the flat dipping position. You can leave them perminatly like that fine for an MOT.

If its the newer plastic headlamp (first used in 2016) there is a lever you move in the back of the headlamp on mine if you move it the full amount it gives a losy beam pattern.

Before you do anything check they aren't already set for flat dipping.

My last two Hymers have had almond shaped glass headlights, both had Hella units which have had the 2 levers on the back of the headlight, you had to take the rubber boot off to see them, moving both levers flattened the beam.

You just jogged my memory Norm, the 2014 Exsis I had, had levers I'd forgotten that so Hymer22 van will have levers.

Thank you all for your replies, i will have a look for these levers when it stops raining ☔☔☔(y)

Nice and sunny on the south coast, not as warm as the 22/23° we had on Sat & Sun.

I never drive at night but always put on Headlight adjusters, 2 minute job and not worth the hassle if stop by the Boys in Blue.
