Hayling island parking

hi...does anyone know if i can park my motorhome in West Beach Car Park just for the day? Dont want to spend the night, just a daytrip with no emission charges etc, thanks

It is now £15 as soon as you pull up rather than per hour charge as it use to be.
We I’ll not go over now in the van for 3-4 hours like we use to and walk the dogs and cook a bit of lunch

Havant council do not like motorhomes.

Not sure on The Ferry Boat pub that may be cheaper.

russ the rambler If you just want a run out with daytime parking , at this time of the year West Wittering beach parking is ok but could be muddy and is £2.20 all day weekdays or £4.40 weekends . Or there is pay and display hardstanding parking at Marine Drive car park PO20 8HF East Wittering.

East Wittering looks a good tip thanks, and i might stretch to the hayling island parking once over the winter. If there are any other 'day trip' places do let me know thanks, just want to give the engine a run more than anything

There's a good carpark at Chichester Harbour although it's a narrow lane down to it.

West Wittering beach used to be free in the winter but £2.20 won't break the bank. Considering how much Havant council tax is, £15 for a scrappy bit of gravel is "avin' a larf"
