After the enlightened advice from knowledgable funsters at the weekend, regarding the advantages of transitioning from 215/70 tyres to 225/70 and the recommendations relating to load rating, I enquired about Continental 4 Season tyres, instead of the VancoCamper summer tyres. I also took note of the marmite responses to Michelin Agyllis.

Was initially told they were in short supply, but the local tyre fitter managed to get a full set delivered and fitted today. I was potentially concerned whether product might have been old stock, but the date code was 0921, so brand spanking new from the first week in March this year, so only a few weeks old !

Felt the benefit of the reduced tyre pressures on way home taking a speed bump much better in its stride.
Many thanks to all the funsters who are more than one step ahead of me and leading the way.

A bewildering choice . . .

Which did you actually buy
Vanco 4 Season tyres,
Van contact 4 Season tyres,
I’ve tried checking out the difference between these two,but I’m still not sure.
What loony would call different tyres more or less the same name...and why??!!

I'm in no hurry to buy but preparing for ?
