Oh dear, not sounding very positive news.
The family are gathering.

I'm getting massive deja vu.
I got the call from my mother's Doctor in 2nd week of the Pandemic when were were all in proper lockdown, we were told to get down to Cornwall if we were able.

We made it, my brother did 275 miles in 3.5hrs, I took 8 hrs in the motorhome, taking every lane and back route to avoid the police road blocks that were stopping people in cars loaded with people, caravans etc.

That said, my mother lived another 5 weeks, my brother and I remained on her drive in the motorhome.

It must be serious because the ginger half wit and his awful wife are also heading for Balmoral.
I've bloody booked Monday and Friday off already. Please not a BH or I'll have a challenge getting a day back

Harry and Meghan to travel to Scotland

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be travelling to Scotland, a spokesperson for the couple said.
The couple, who now live in the US, have been in the UK in recent days for various engagements.
They are now in Germany, to mark one year until the Invictus Games - a competition for injured military veterans - is held there.

Doe's n't look too good does it? She has been part of our lives for 7 decades or so

Saw something on the internet just now. Seems to be a question a lot of people could be thinking at this time.

"Is this the end of British Britishness?"

Sending HM best wishes.
Just acrolling through SKY news feed and this photo of guards outside Buck House took my eye. SIL claims it must be mocked up? Looks like a child.

Probably a Ghurkha.
You'd stand more chance of getting past the other three combined than the small one on his own.

Echo all the above sentiments.

Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II, has been a fixture throughout my life. I wasn't born for the coronation, so I have no frame of reference as to how the nation took the passing of George VI. Nevertheless, even the most fervent Republican must surely agree that the Queen has been magnificent. Not least at her ability to maintain complete impartiality to the political issues of the day.

What is coming is inevitable, and hardly a surprise - 96 is a venerable age - but I will be be extremely sad, and will probably shed several tears when the news finally breaks..

An unmatched and unmatchable life. There has never, and will never, be another Monarch like our Queen.

First Lady to the Entire World.

Just because she has a mind of her own? Think they are both rather nice people considering what runs around in Westminster 👍

It's either been removed, or it's in one of the secret forums to which only a select few have access.
U Shaped Lounge is where the older thread lives.
Not sure how MHF members lose or get access there. 🤷‍♂️
