He has adored his cuddles from day one and he finds my chest perfect for when he goes in the car. I hope he grows out of that one because he is going to be a big boy.
We loved him as soon as we met him, what's not to love.....his recall & sit are two things he did himself, we have just praised him and added the commands, next will be the whistle, you know the type that farmers use with their sheep dogs......Robert came home with one a while ago and Gabby just cannot ignore it.
He is also doing really well with his house training, it helps that he is eager to please.
You should have seen him earlier this morning when I played with Pepsi-boy, he has one of those feather on a stick & line type toys...….well the two of them ran about after it like a pair of nut cases, they are getting on well and on the odd occasion that Pepsi batts Gus there are NEVER any claws. I sometimes think that we have 3 Collies not two & a cat.

Yup he is......a really cute thing at the moment is his ears, they are at different levels & directions every day at the moment.....we should open a book on how they will end up.

My tongue has been like Gabby's , normally caused by too much Rioja.
The pup certainly looks very alert and bright eyed. By the way my dog is 13 and I still call her the pup.

Well Gus has had his 2nd jag & his kennel cough drops today.
He now weighs 6.4kg, so it will be interesting to see how much he weighs on his check-up with the nurse in a months time.
He and Pepsi-boy play like a pair of idiots, seeing a cat with his front legs wrapped round Gus is so funny, Pepsi really seems to like him, but then he is missing his pet dog Georgie. Gabby is courting play with him as well, it is so sweet to watch.
Gus cuddling up to Robert while I was grabbing a bit of shopping.

Needing sleep/growing time, surrounded by toys....

Pepsi-boy is worn out from playing with Gus...…

Well that's Gus's insurance done, we have continued with the company who covered him for his first month with us, it came free as part of his puppy pack from the breeder......you know, the 'backyard breeder'..
He has also had his first trip out on my mobility scooter, a very short part of which he walked beside me copying what Gabby was doing, the rest was cuddled into me.....he is a smart little cookie.
You should have seen me on the way home with Gabby in the footwell and Gus cuddled up against my shoulder.
He is now out for the count digesting all the things he saw and the cuddles and kisses he got from people along the way.....

Looks like Gabby has taken to Gus too and doesn’t want to be left out of the cuddles.

I think you are going to one of the Scotland meets next year..Edin perhaps so will hopefully get to see them there.

Gabby does like him, but we do have to be watchful of her...….he & Pepsi run about like a pair of loonatics, seeing a puppy and a cat like that is really funny.
It would be lovely to meet you anyway, so yes we will have to aim to do that.

He looks like he’s growing fast. Does he go over to Gabbie for a snuggle?

You will have to video his antics the first time he sees snow.

Blue used to toss it in the air then try and catch it.

He and Gabby are getting there, they both play, he's learning about Gabby's rules at the moment though.
We think he looks handsome already, the way he stands shows what he's going to be like when he grows up.
Ours have always enjoyed the snow and catching snowballs......yes we will record that, good plan.
