Hello all - I have been campervanning for a while but only discovered this splendid site recently!

We used to have a Bilbo's Nexa T5.1, and currently have an Auto-Sleepers Symbol Plus, and loved both of them.

But having done the Goldilocks thing of too small, then too big, I hope we'll get it just right this time... This morning we took a deep breath and put a deposit down on a Westfalia Columbus 540D, which I think we should get before Christmas. And if any other modern Westfalia owners should read this, I'd be interested to know of any online owners' forums or other places to get advice etc (especially in English!).

Congrats on the new van! The Westfalia Columbus 540D seems like an amazing pick – let’s hope you get it in time for some holiday shenanigans! Some people have even mentioned in their posts about a “Westfalia Owners Club” on Facebook and there is even a forum on the Motorhome Fun site where owners of Westfalia share their insights and experiences. Might be worth checking out!

Ah, thanks - I didn't notice there were type-specific forums here. I've added that to my 'watch' list.

Have created a new FB account (having deleted mine about 10 years ago!) but so far haven't found an obvious Westfalia group. Perhaps I'll ask in the forum here!
