I have to recommend these guys
Typing this on the train on my way to collect my van from Gloucester road gearboxes in Bristol.
I had my 1996 gearbox reconditioned nearly two years and 2000 miles ago. It recently developed a crunch going into 4th. I dropped the van to them on Friday afternoon and I'm collecting it this morning. Faulty synchromesh replaced.

No charge !

They sorted out an old Toyota import gearbox for me, using parts they had at the back of the garage, just had to pay labour 2 hours. Anyone going there don't be put off by the area, they are good guys and will call a taxi if required!
