Google Maps problem

I was using google maps on Chrome on my laptop planning routes last night , when the satellite view just went black , I unloaded it and reloaded and it came up with map view then when I clicked the sat icon in the left corner it went black again, tried restarting computer and clearing cookies but no joy, anyone any ideas please

Happening same to me with iPhone so must be a google problem

I’m on latest 12.4

Oh and it only goes black once you go down to street view AND then try and move along the street, I can view street view ok just not move along the street

All ok now, google has fixed it in v5.24 so just update and all is good

iOS 12.4 Likewise I have had some problems with street view but not satellite. Glad to hear latest version has fixed it.

I logged out of my Google account , restarted computer again the signed back into Google account and all seems to be fine so far
