We viewed a 600L today (6m length) and felt the dining area was a little tight. Does anyone know if the campscout (6.4m) is any better? The layout plan on the globecar website looks like it is identical.

Yes I think it is ... the bed in the Campscout is slightly longer than the 600L but the rest of the length must give a larger bathroom and dinette.
Where are you from? You’d be welcome to take a look ... we’re near Ayr in Scotland.

I have a 600L revolution and was under the impression the dinnete area in the Campscout revolution was larger and the extra 400mm was in the saloon area rather than the bed area but I could be wrong.

The technical data sheet confirms that Campscout is higher than the 600L. It has a higher GVW. The bed is longer but only 5-10cm. The bathrooms are quite different ... I think you’d need to look at both vans to see how much of the extra space is in the bathroom and how much in the dinette. The Campscout dinette is not spacious but worked for 2 adults and an adult sized teenager in the summer.

Thanks for all the replies, I'll have to track one down to take a look.

Grianan, were in Worcestershire so to far away but thanks for the kind offer.

Having seen the Globestar in the flesh I can confirm that the dinette IS smaller, you can see from the below layouts that the aeras is quite a bit smaller to accommodate the beds, the kitchen area is also a bit smaller as is the shower/toilet.

We changed from a Globecar FamilyScout with a large L-shaped lounge to the Campscout and find it is perfect for our needs and don't miss the larger lounge at all.

Thanks Minxy that's very helpful. I will hopefully get to see one next week and fingers crossed the diner will feel more roomy. It ticks all the other boxes for our requirements.
