Hi All
I have recently had a ghost 2 pro immobiliser fitted to my car . It certainly seems a good bit of kit and gives me some comfort . I had it professionally fitted. Don’t get me wrong I know that if a professional thief wants the car they will have a way to take it I am sure !
My question is this , has anyone had a Ghost fitted to their Fiat Ducato based MH .
If so , has it been trouble free ?

I have a ghost 2 on my truck, my daughter has had them on her last two Range Rovers. Not had any problems with any of them, but to my knowledge nobody has tried to steal them so I don't know how effective they are. The insurance didn't give a discount but that may because the ghost is not Thatchem approved. It makes me feel just a little bit safer so worth it for that.

Yes...and yes!

The only oddity is that once you've entered the unlock code you have to cycle the ignition key to start the engine.

Had one fitted on my previous VW van. I forgot to key in the code one day, and the van started anyway! Took it back for a software update, but the problem persisted. Excellent when it works, but make sure it is actually working!

Hi Golden Vision
Yes , my engine will always start without the code , however you can’t engage drive without the code. I think that is why they re branded it the Ghost 2 Pro . It allows the car to be remotely started for cooling or heating etc . So far so good 🤞🏻

Ah, we don't have the "pro" model installed, just the bog standard "ghost 2".
