Gas hob

Hi,
My 3 burner gas hob has no ignition, ie no spark or clicking. The flow of gas is fine.
Any help much appreciated.

Daft question i know but do you have your internal panel switched on, though ours had gone and realised I hadn't switched on the electrics

lol it’s easily done, yes internal electrics on. Tks

One or 2 hobs have a battery operated igniter that takes AA Batteries. Otherwise the first check is to see if 12v is reaching the hob

Checked all your fuses incase it shares a fuse with something else and its blown and u just never noticed yet

The ignition module is a plastic module about the size of a 10 pack of cigarettes. It is usually mounted on the underside of the hob. It has an ignition wire to each burner and a 12v supply from the ignition switch on the hob. It will be earthed to the hob or via a wire or both.

Is it a piezoelectric igniter or battery or electric or non?

Are you saying it's just stopped working recently ? Our 3 burner Smev model doesn't have electronic ignition from new.

Well, neverhome no offence intended you but tbh we can't help you unless you tell us what hob you have - make, model etc (there are many) and answer jockaneezer 's and Stealaway 's questions whether the ignition has ever worked.
I assume the motorhome is new to you.

Download a photo. Someone will recognise the hob. What make / year is it?

the Moho is an adria 2016. the hob doesn’t say the make, the oven is thetford. I will find out more details and repost, Tks for all the help.
