Thinking about buying a G630. Seen a couple advertised but I'm unclear as to whether these are 3 or 4 berth? Or is it both, depending on the year? Can anybody help please? Obviously, I don't necessarily trust the dealer's blurb.......

Yeah, already checked that. Confusing because the G630L, (not LR), from the previous year (2009), is shown as 4 berth. And the dealer describes it as 3 berth. So still struggling. Is there a Pilote expert out there who knows all the ins and outs? Was there a straight 630 model? The picture seems to show 630 on the side of the van with no letters. But it's not very clear.

Do you have a particular one in mind, ie a sales advert we can see?

Have you tried searching for the brochure for that model's year which should show the specifications?
Yeah, the 630L is shown as 4 berth, which contradicts the dealer. Maybe it's a 2008 model registered in 2009? Of course, I can't find the 2008 brochure, only the 2009....... :(

Yeah, it's on Autotrader at £36k. Dealer is The Motorhome Company Scotland. They say it's 2009 but 3 berth.

But as you can see from "outandaboutlive", both the 2008 and 2009 models as shown as being 4 berth

The Pilote 2009 brochure also claims it is 4 berth. To be honest, I can't see how you can get a 4th berth out of the dinette, unless you put your feet on the driver's seat. Maybe that is it?

Can't find it on their site or Autotrader.

Edit just found it - they don't mention the model in the title:

To me it looks like a 4 berth, the side sofa bed is big enough to use as a double:

Really? Is that a double? Wow. Mind you, why am I surprised. The dealer obviously doesn't think so. But then they can't spell Reference............ :giggle:
Yup, they're not as wide as 'domestic' ones usually, we had one that was 4ft wide in one MH.

Even so, that's taking the mick a bit. Did you look at the other photo, not the one you posted? It looks even smaller in that. Did they pay you to post the photo that made it look bigger?

Its just the angle they've taken it from that makes it look narrow. :giggle: It depends on who you expect to be using it, if it's a couple of kiddies it's fine, if it's a heffalump then you might need to use the whole lot of the lower seating! 😄

I have a 2009 630L and the side bed is a Large single really. Two children could use it but if it was two adults they would be squashed up.

Some adults would probably like that ... :blusher:

Thanks for that. Confirms what Minxy Girl said. Bit redundant now though. I've just bought a 2017 G650. Full size double bed makes up from lounge seating. Suits us.

Yep, glad you got sorted. We use the drop down bed and our 3 dogs have the choice of floor or the sofa's. They've never complained - LOL
