Well travelled
We've driven from our home in the Highlands, ferry from Harwich. Driven through Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria and now near Rome. The price of fuel was cheapest in Germany at 120cents, but Italy the dearest by a long way. Average for diesel is 150 cents per litre with some places charging 170 +.
So we'll not complain when we get home.

But the roads in Italy are horrendously bad.

Two weeks ago on the M6.. £1.69 !!!! I put 10 litres in and waited till the A14 to fill up

£1.28 \ litre in Tesco Wick yesterday. Same in Morrisons Alness a couple of weeks ago.
You should have saved a fortune and stayed at home and got drookit like the rest of us!
