Fuel gauge faulty fiat ducato 2008

We have a 2008 2.3 diesel fiat ducato. The fuel gauge has stopped working. Sender unit looks fine, behind dash looks okay. Any suggestions what we should do next. Is there a relay we need to check. Also does anyone know if there is a repair manual ( not a pdf)

Have you unplugged dash - touched to earth and reconnected? Poor earth on old Fiats.
Add another Earth strap from body to engine/battery. Extra ones can't hurt.

Take the cluster out and send it to Cartronix....

To check the sender, a multimeter set on resistance across the float wires (2thinnest) move it manually and if no change you senders buggered! If all ok then id be sending the dash away.

That’s what we did undo 2 screws posted off and returned two days later fixed @150 pounds not cheap
