Fresh water tank

Hi I’m looking for some advise help I have a Burstner t700 with an IT994 control panel my problem is the gauge for the fresh/waste water doesn’t show a reading but the back light is working also the battery gauge works only one gauge for both operations I am trying to find if the sensor in the tank is faulty or the panel Q how can I test the tank sensor thanks in advance look forward to your replies

It could be the probes that are coated, I don’t know how easy yours are to get too.
I have used a new pan scourer to clean mine in the past
