Stopping at a nice little site in March, Cambs. Easy walking into the village and nice and quite, flat, big pitches and over crowding. The owners only ever have a max of 15 units ( tents, caravans or mo homes). Token operated showers, dishwash area, usual disposal and fresh water point, EHU on some pitches which is extra to the £12.50 per night pitch price. You buy a metre card for however much you want on there, we put £5 on, then they refund you whatever is left on the card when you go. Best thing is the Old River Nene runs past the end of the site and there's mooring and a launch platform.

Hi we stopped for 1 night on the way back from Exeter as we got our tow bar fitted in march at uk tow bars the following morning. It was peaceful and plenty of space there, the owners seemed a nice couple. They have not owned it long so we wish them well with it. Ivory55

The only problem with Floodferrymarina website is that they don't tell you where they are, so why would you book it unless you know where it is?

Looked at this post with interest as we're looking for somewhere local for a few days between medical appts and our trip to the Faroes at the end of the month but the website doesn't say much about campsite options, these things tend to send me elsewhere too.

My OP was meant to say NO over crowding. If you like a quiet small site I can definitely recommend this one. Owners a lovely, very friendly and helpful but not pushing the rules down your throat.

They do rally's too! :thumb:
