Hi all
I have searched but can't find it?
I remember reading about the weight of the bottle to work out how much gas you have left.
Thanks.

Not sure about Flogas but Calor bottles have a disc with the empty weight in pounds and ounces.
Convert this to kilograms and subtract from whatever your part bottle weighs.

All the bottle stats are on their websites calor and flogas.
There has to be a tariff label of stamp on the bottle some where.

There should be a gross and net weight label on the bottle somewhere.
The calor gas stats are listed on there site.

I've noticed that different Calor cylinders have quite significantly different Tare (empty) weights stamped on their collar discs which seems strange.

We use Flo Gas.

Empty 6kg bottle weighs 8.3 kg, empty 11kg bottle weighs 13.2 kg.

Calor Gas 6kg bottles weigh up to 11kg when empty & their 13kg can weigh as much as 22kg empty.

Thanks to all
The reason I ask I bought a bottle that was supposed to be full.
Got the scales out and it weighed 18.7
Took the one out of the Moho today and it weighs 21.5

So at 18.7 - 13 that means 5.7kg of gas so not full
The one that n the Moho 21.5 - 13 means 8.5kg of gas left not using as much as I thought.
Only asking as we are going to Scotland on Saturday to the following Sunday and did not want to run out 😀

Seems I'm worring about nowt.
