Flat battery Ford Benimar

Only had my motor home 3 months.Went to start up this morning, battery flat. We have a solar panel on the roof. Am i missing something here, I thought the panel would keep the battery at full capacity .Thanks

It keeps the habitation battery at full charge & unless you have a split charger or B2B, or a second battery connection on the solar output, then no it won't keep the engine battery charged.

Clint Fitting a Vanbitz battery master would enable the starter battery to be kept charged up via the leisure battery when it is being charged from the solar panel (or EHU)
